Dublin City Tour - Hop on Hop Off
One Ticket – Two Routes! Experience Dublin in your own language! Hop on board Dublin’s first multi-lingual tour and enjoy the sights of Ireland’s capital city in one of our eight languages (We’ve just added kid’s commentary too!). Your multi-lingual ticket also entitles you to unlimited 24 hour travel on any of our Dublin City Tours, which means you have the opportunity to really explore one of Europe’s most popular short break destinations. With twenty-four stops along the avenues of Dublin’s top visitor attractions, there is no better way to see Dublin! Enjoy this fun and friendly 90-minute tour with live guide commentary on a route that will take you past Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Phoenix Park, Dublin Castle and the Old Jameson Distillery. The first tour departs at 9:15am (9:30am during winter) and runs every 8 to 20 minutes throughout the day. Discounts off admission are available on many of these attractions with the Gray Line Dublin Tour ticket. Some places of interest along the tour route include: Guinness Storehouse: A fermentation plant at St James Gate Brewery, Guinness has transformed Dublin into a place where you can experience one of the world’s best known brands in a completely unexpected way. The storehouse offers savory beer from a great tasting room that provides 360 degree views of the city. Old Jameson Distillery: Nestled in the heart of old Dublin lays the Old Jameson Distillery with origins dating back to 1870. Today visitors are introduced to the taste and history of John Jameson’s Irish whiskey. Dublinia: One of the most popular visits in the city, this exhibition portrays life in medieval Dublin. Experience the history from the Anglo-Normans in 1170 to the closure of the monasteries and the Reformation circa 1540. Dublin Castle: Dublin Castle remains a developing architectural entity from its foundation in the 12th century up to the present day. Because of the large array of buildings on the site, the castle is similar to Trinity College and is subdivided into smaller, more accessible divisions. Phoenix Park: Largest enclosed park in Europe and home to the Dublin Zoo. The National Gallery: Home of the national collection of Irish art and works by European master painters. National Museum: Features an innovative exhibition style and displays artifacts from weaponry and uniforms from centuries past.
