Cilipi Folklore

The Konavle Valley with its thirty villages, well known for its beautiful landscape, elegant national costumes and embroideries has carefully preserved its traditions and customs passed down through generations.
Traditional welcome in Cilipi with dry figs and herb brandy followed by a walk through this picturesque village with a typical rural architecture.
At the Sunday Fair you will have opportunity to buy hand made souvenirs and embroideries or attend the Holy Mass at St. Nicholas’ church, where countrymen come dressed in their national costumes. Enjoy the folklore performance of dances and folk music of the area held in front of the church. Visit to the Konavle Ethnographic Museum arranged like a typical Konavle house with objects of daily use, jewellery and festive costumes of the bride and groom.

Dubrovnik Countryside

We would like to take you to family countryside homes, to show you the way our hosts live for generations and to feel their hospitality.
Throughout history Majkovi have been the centre of bee-keeping in Dubrovnik region. We will visit the house of honey, enjoy honey tasting and learn about this delicious and rare type of food that is being produced by the bees, without idustrial processing and aditives.
Driving to the next household we will enjoy unique panoramic view of Dubrovnik riviera and will pass by the stone quarry. Highlight of our tour is small village Smokovljani, where a local family has their country home with interesting garden and animal farm. There you will be allowed to explore their household and enjoy family hospitality.
On our way back, you will enjoy Adriatic coast scenery.

Elaphite Islands Karaka Cruise

Island of Korcula

Lying on a small peninsula surrounded by city walls and fortresses, Korcula is one of the most beautiful medieval cities on the Adriatic Coast. Covered in dense pine forest, the island was named Korkyra Melaina, meaning “Black Korcula”, by the Greeks in the 3rd century B.C.
On our trip we are going to visit the house where one of the biggest world travelers, Marko Polo, was born in 1254. At the age of 17 he went on a long journey to China. Marko Polo was the first who introduce Europe to developed and powerful Chinese civilization and discovered many achievements among which were pasta, paper money, oil as a mean of energy, many different spices and rich fabrics of different kinds and colors.
This excursion also includes a drive across the picturesque peninsula of Pelješac, famous wine-growing area, with a stop in Prizdrina for a wine tasting.

Magic of Trsteno and Ston

On our way to Ston we will make a first stop at village of Orašac and visit a family house where the host will present us the traditional mill and serve us a welcome drink.
One of our excursion highlights is Ston with its 5-kilometre long walls, a city built in the 15th century according to a plan with a rectangular scheme of streets and squares. Ston is renowned for its delicious oysters and mussels that we recommend you to taste in one of the local restaurants. Another landmark of Ston is its old salt ponds where the salt is still gathered today in the old way.
We continue to the Arboretum in Trsteno with a 15th century summer residence of the Dubrovnik patrician family Gucetic-Gozze surrounded by a beautiful Renaissance garden.
Enjoy a view from its pavilion over the islands or take a walk to the baroque Neptune’s fountain immersed in the luxuriant subtropical vegetation of magnolia, black bamboo, laurel, eucalyptus, palm and camphor trees. Trsteno is also famous for its two gigantic 500-year old plane trees.

Medieval Fortresses of Ston & Korcula

Discover a charming little town of Ston with its 5-kilometre long walls; and the island of Korcula – the hometown of Marco Polo, the famous world traveller.

Montenegro Blue

Surrounded by high mountains reflected in the blue waters, a fjord-shaped Bay of Kotor is one of the most spectacular landscapes on the Mediterranean. Drive along the bay past Risan and picturesque Perast, a home- town of many captains.
Boat ride to the man-made islet of Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela). Upon returning home safely, seamen dropped rocks and old boats filled with rocks in this place and gradually created the islet as the foundation for the church.
Continuation to Kotor, town that has always been providing a safe harbour to navigators and its famous merchant navy. Mostar, traces of Orient

We travel along the coastline and through the well known holiday destinations of the Omiš and Makarska Rivieras, to the fertile delta of the Neretva River. Driving towards inland Bosnia and Herzegovina we reach Pocitelj, a mysterious town with an old Turkish fortress.
After a short break we continue along the Neretva River valley to Mostar, the ‘a window to the Orient’ and an important trade centre in the time of Turkish rule. With a guide, we will tour the oriental part of the city and see the Old Bazaar, full of lively shops and workshops, visit a mosque and a typical Turkish house and walk over the legendary 16th century bridge that the city got its name from.
There will be time for lunch and for a coffee in one of the many old restaurants and cafes along the river. We leave Mostar in the late afternoon, going over Biokovo Mountain, providing us with a gorgeous view of the central Dalmatian coastline and islands

Three Islands Cruise

We will take you on a pleasant cruise to the Elaphite Islands stretching west from Dubrovnik.
