Description

Description

Arrive in London and be transferred to the extraordinary One Aldwych. With interconnecting rooms and games consoles, this hotel is perfectly set up for families. Furthermore, the hotel has a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea which the children will no doubt adore. Whilst in London we will provide a private guide to explore the city – the itinerary is entirely based around your families interests – whether you want to see the main sights, catch a show in the West End, and even let your children really have fun with a visit to the Harry Potter studios followed by a stop at Hamleys.

Your party is then transferred to the Four Seasons Hampshire via luxury private car. It takes approximately 1-hour 30-minutes (depending on traffic) to reach this magnificent hotel – a Georgian Manor house built in 1806, and interestingly where Henry VIII met Catherine of Aragon. Overlooking 500 acres of rolling hills and parkland, the Four Seasons is the perfect country retreat. The children can either enjoy the hotel’s superb ‘Kids for All Seasons’ programme, or just get out and about. The Hotel has its own resident dog, Oliver, who they can take for a walk, have their own pony for the day, try their hand at falconry, discover clay pigeon shooting or head into the countryside on bikes. For teenagers, the Four Seasons has a dedicated cottage where they can all meet and enjoy playing foosball and air hockey. For the parents, you will have a world-class spa, and superb restaurants.
Consider day trips to local villages for a pub lunch, the South Downs, the medieval towns of Winchester or Salisbury, Stonehenge or Highclere Castle (also known as Downton Abbey).

When to travel
It is very difficult to predict the weather in the United Kingdom – in the summer from May to late September is generally seen as the most pleasant time to visit. Rainfall is difficult to predict – but England does not receive as much as many are led to believe! In the winters, temperatures do fall, but there is nothing better than finding a remote pub with a roaring fire to sit beside after a long walk in the country.
