Highly recommendable is the 2km ride from Snekkersten to Helsingør and the impressive Kronborg Castle (renowned from Shakespeare`s Hamlet) and the Historical Centre.
Also the Danish Maritime Museum listed on the New York Times’ list ”52 places to go in 2014” is a “must”; because of its fantastic architecture and exciting exhibition.
If those attractions take your time don’t worry. You can choose between 2 stages in Sweden, if you are in lack of time. On the longest stage you cycle to the rocky peninsula “Kullen”, but you can also choose shorter stages. The ferry to Sweden runs every 15 minutes, price 7.5 Euro (not included) for a roundtrip.
