Cetina River Rafting Adventure

Rafting is one of the most exciting ways to experience a river’s currents and take in its picturesque surroundings.
Our river adventure begins in the Omiš Dinara Mountains, on the shore of the Cetina River, which makes its way towards the sea though a rocky canyon which is full of exciting rapids and also calmer currents.
After getting dressed and short instructions, next is a 3 hour ride down the foamy river to Radmanove Mlinice (Radman’s Mills) in the Omiš hinterland, where we will leave our rafts and enjoy swimming in the clear mountain river or take a walk in the forest. There will be an opportunity for a great lunch and also for a short visit to Omiš, a small historical town located on the mouth of this largest Dalmatian river.

Hvar Town

A pleasant sail from Split though the Brac and Hvar canal will take us to Hvar’s port – one of the most beautiful in Dalmatia.
Hvar Town, on the island of the same name, as the oldest tourist centre in Dalmatia, is rich with historical monuments that are of interest for visitors. The 17th century theatre, the Arsenal from the 13th century or the central town square with the Cathedral, surrounded by numerous palaces in various architectural styles only complete the picture. The Franciscan monastery in the city is known for its old masters collection, including Ingolijev’s “Last Supper”.
After having a look around the town there will be enough time left over for swimming, sunbathing and for lunch in one of Hvar Town’s fantastic restaurants. For more active types we recommend going up to the old fortress above the town, offering a unique view of part of the island and the nearby archipelago of Pakleni islands.

Krka National Park & Šibenik

Located only 12 km away from Šibenik is the Krka National Park with its well known waterfalls, of which Skradinski Buk is the largest and most beautiful.
In a lovely natural surroundings, full of greenery, the waters of the Krka River over 17 natural barriers, creating a countless number of large and small waterfalls, and also travel a height difference of 45 meters.
This is a place where the beauty of the National Park stands out the most through the eternal interaction of sun and water. There is free time for lunch, looking around the ethno village, walking, swimming and taking photos of the picturesque landscape.

Mostar, traces of Orient

We travel along the coastline and through the well known holiday destinations of the Omiš and Makarska Rivieras, to the fertile delta of the Neretva River. Driving towards inland Bosnia and Herzegovina we reach Pocitelj, a mysterious town with an old Turkish fortress.
After a short break we continue along the Neretva River valley to Mostar, the ‘a window to the Orient’ and an important trade centre in the time of Turkish rule. With a guide, we will tour the oriental part of the city and see the Old Bazaar, full of lively shops and workshops, visit a mosque and a typical Turkish house and walk over the legendary 16th century bridge that the city got its name from.
There will be time for lunch and for a coffee in one of the many old restaurants and cafes along the river. We leave Mostar in the late afternoon, going over Biokovo Mountain, providing us with a gorgeous view of the central Dalmatian coastline and islands.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

We drive through the picturesque landscape of the Dalmatian hinterland and Lika and at about midday we arrive in the centre of the Plitvice Lakes, which are considered to be one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world.
Sixteen lakes situated in thick forest are connected by 92 waterfalls and cascade down the Korana River and form unique surroundings. Particular attractions are a few caves and the rich diversity of flora and fauna.
The Plitvice Lakes were declared a national park in 1949, and since 1979 have been under unesco protection. The tour of the park lasts about two and a half hours and along with walking includes a boat trip on Lake Kozjak. After touring the lakes there is free time for lunch and pursuing your own activities and enjoying the untouched nature of one of the most beautiful natural parks in the world.

Split City Tour

The City of Split is today the largest Dalmatian city and port, 1700 years ago during the time of Ancient Rome it settled on the Marjan peninsula surrounded by the historical cities of ancient Salona and Trogir.
We will stroll the narrow streets of Diocletian’s Palace, the 4th century roman emperor, tour its excellently preserved cellar galleries and on the central ancient Peristil Square visit the old Temple of Jupiter, today the city Cathedral and the oldest building of its kind in the world. We will also pass the protected Golden and Silver doors through historical squares to the lively markets and the Riva, the ideal place for strolling and shopping.
