A cruise on board a ship that has all the style of the ancient caique, a type of boat that is a legend itself, just as it is the sea under your feet.

It is not just a matter of watching and observing, but a truly active journey intended to combine sailing and relaxing with cycling along the narrow streets of Capri, Pompeii, Procida, Ischia Islands, and Sorrento.

Day 2: Castellammare di Sabia – Pompeii – Sorrento (9 miles/15 km)
Today’s cycle route leads you to Pompeii, the world’s largest open-air archaeological site. A great example of past life, Pompeii’s citizens remain fixed in their daily activites when Mount Vesuvius eruped in 79 A.D. and covered the city with ash and lava. From Pompeii the tour returns to Marina di Castellammare and Sorrento, where you can visit the town on foot.

Day 3: Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi (22 miles/35 km)
This morning you depart along the Sorrento coast. You cross “Passo San Pietro“ (St. Peters pass) and enter the Amalfi Coast. The route cycles along scenic roads on the way to Positano.

The colourful houses of Positano are built in an amphitheatre shape overlooking the sea, giving the village a unique and picturesque aspect. From Positano the tour continues to Amalfi, a powerful town during the 10th century maritime republic. Highlights of the town include the Abbey of Paradise, Church and main road that is connected with many narrow alleys between white fishermans’ houses.
Overnight in Amalfi.

Day 4: Amalfi – Minori – Vietri – Cetara or Ravello (16 miles/25 km; optional Ravello route 22 miles/35 km)
From Amalfi you continue cycling on rolling roads overlooking the sea, passing the villages of Minori, Maiori and Cetara. You can also make a detour to Ravello to visit the Dome dedicated to Saint Pantaleone. Views along the route include the Gulf of Salerno and Cilento mountains, as well as Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo whose architecture was an inspiration to Wagner, a famous composer.

Cycling on you reach Vietri and Salerno. You’ll join the gulet and navigate to Capri. You’ll enjoy some time admiring the Amalfi coast from the sea.
Overnight in roadstead in Capri.

Day 5: Capri
Today you will have a break from cycling. You will have time to vist Capri’s famous piazzetta and Faraglioni. Another highlight is a spectacular view from a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Naples dominated by Mount Vesuvius.
Overnight stay in the port of Ischia Casamicciola.

Day 6: Ischia (22 miles/35 km)
Cycling from Ischia port you will cross by bike the west part of the island among the scents and flavors of the Mediterranean sea, crossing little villages with the possibility of visiting little museums along the stage.
